This 12 year old is lightly peated for an Islay single malt and consequently is a light, fresh dram. Fresh, sweet, seaweed & malt on the nose. On the palate soft & supple with a nutty sherried taste. A little sweetness, malty, juicy sultana. Slightly coastal. A sherried, mochaccino, herbal, balanced salty tang finish.
